Ireland Travel Guide

Once considered the land of saints and scholars, Ireland has gone through vast modernisation and grown in population and international status. It has developed as a bastion of human rights, and grown into its skin. The marks of the saints and the scholars live on in the churches and monasteries that dot the countryside and the heritage of poetry, prose and creative arts for which Ireland is rightly famous. As a place that is generally warm and welcoming, everyone comes to feel a wee bit Irish.

I fall in love with Ireland again and again. Yes, I was born here, but with each stunning view and friendly welcome, Ireland keeps reminding you why it's one of the best places to visit on Earth.

This travel guide to Ireland will help you plan your trip, budget carefully and travel the smart way!

Ireland Guide | The Wild Atlantic Way

As I am Irish, I am very proud of the diverse and beautiful landscapes that can be found throughout the country. But how do you tackle the whole country in one trip? One way is to focus on a road trip and limited itinerary. The Wild Atlantic Way is a road trip of over 2,500 kilometres (>1500 miles) which stretches from the very Northern tip of the island at Malin Head to the very Southern tip.

The route hugs the Western coastline, sometimes a little closely! My blog and video guide series gives you all the information you need to plan an trip and itinerary, whether you have a few days or a few weeks. Find out more today!
